Anne Hathaway, who played as the 2001 films regular San Francisco teen-turned-princess Mia Thermopolis, invited fans to join her on the journey down memory lane with a series of snapshots from her time on set and in the film. In the book, Clarisse had been stuck up and cruel towards Mia, causing her to cry many times, and even being the one to out Mia as a Princess to the press (in the movie, stylist Paulo does this).
